    Criminal Investigation Bureau detectives on St. Croix arrested 57-Year-old Tydel John and charged him with Unlawful Sexual Contact in the First Degree and Child Abuse in connection with an incident on August 8 involving a 10-year-old female minor. Tydel John is presently listed on the House Arrest page of this website as a suspect placed on House Arrest by order of the court.

    Investigators arrested John based on a warrant dated October 1 which stated that the suspect touched the female minor in an inappropriate manner. John was arrested at about 11:20 a.m. Friday, October 2. John was previously arrested on similar charges including Aggravated Rape.

    He was placed on a $10,000 bail and remanded to the Golden Grove Adult Correctional Facility pending his advice of rights hearing which has been set for Monday, October 5.
