    New Donna school policies put to the test

    It’s been more than a year since three school district employees were arrested after being accused of using electronic media to solicit female high school students to have sex. The 2015 teacher sex-scandal made headlines across Texas and cost the Donna school district hundreds of thousands of taxpayer dollars in lawsuits and legal fees. It also forced district officials to change the way they investigate and handle these types of cases.
