According to court documents, Fargo police school resource officer Wes Libner took a report that between January and February, Wurgler, then a paraprofessional with the school, showed the 16-year old boy videos and photos of herself nude from the waist up on her cellphone. Libner interviewed the boy, who confirmed that Wurgler showed him images on her iPhone depicting her fully nude as well as topless. Another paraprofessional confirmed to Libner that before Wurgler was terminated, Wurgler had shown her a cellphone image of herself in a bath towel getting out of the shower. In a police interview April 14, Wurgler allegedly admitted showing the boy two or three photos and two videos of herself on more than one occasion. Wurgler told police she made a mistake and didn’t show the boy the photos in order to get him to have sex with her. A search warrant executed on Wurgler’s phone uncovered none of the images described by the boy or the other paraprofessional. Wurgler was sentenced to 30 days in jail and two years of probation. She’s also required to avoid contact with the victim for a year as a condition of her probation.
