    Sharpstown principal to testify before grand jury, attorney says

    The principal of Sharpstown High School, charged with failing to report alleged child abuse of students by a teacher, plans to testify Tuesday before a grand jury ... The grand jury essentially will decide whether the case against [Rob] Gasparello proceeds, issuing an indictment or agreeing to a no-bill. Gasparello has been on leave from the school since he was charged in November.


    According to court records, Gasparello did not report allegations to law enforcement within the mandatory 72 hours after students reported that Spanish teacher Ysidoro Rosales-Motola touched them inappropriately at school and that another student reported abuse by a non-school employee.
