ODE's list of reported cases of teacher misconduct Greater Cincinnati schools submitted at least 34 reports to the Ohio Department of Education regarding educator misconduct between January 2014 and April 2015. From there, ODE has the option to investigate further and, if the case warrants, impose discipline ranging from a letter of admonishment to license revocation. Not every report results in discipline or even an investigation. By law, ODE cannot comment on ongoing cases – even to confirm or deny their existence – so it's difficult to know where a specific case might be in the system unless disciplinary action is posted.
