    MetroHealth employee arrested on suspicions of smuggling drugs into the Cuyahoga County Jail

    A MetroHealth Medical Center Employee is in police custody, officials confirmed Tuesday. The Narcotics Unit of the Cuyahoga County Sherriff's Office arrested Tamika Hardy, a medical practice assistant, on suspicions of illegally smuggling drugs into the Cuyahoga County Jail. Hardy was assigned to the jail and her duties included scheduling and registering inmates for medical care, the Sherriff's Office reports. It is unknown at this time what suspicions led to Ms. Hardy's arrest or how long she had been suspected of wrong-doing. It also remains unknown how long Hardy has been a MetroHealth employee or the length of her time ...
