NYC teacher sues over firing A Manhattan preschool teacher fired after reporting allegations that a co-worker was inappropriately touching students has filed a lawsuit against the school. The New York Times (http://nyti.ms/1xg8Dr0 ) says Marlangel Kefalas's suit claims her termination violated whistle-blower protection laws. She was an assistant teacher at International Preschools in 2012 when she reported her concerns about the teaching intern to school officials. The suit says the school investigated and determined nothing was amiss. She was fired soon after.
