Jailed teacher draws salary in Anambra THERE was confusion in Anambra State education sector on Friday following the discovery that a teacher currently serving a jail term was still drawing salary from the state coffers. The state Commissioner for Education, Professor Kate Omenugha, and the Chairman, Anambra State Universal Basic Education Board, Mr. Nzemeka Olisa, however, denied knowledge of the incident when Southern City News contacted them on the issue. It was gathered that the Headmistress of the jailed teacher, Mrs. Chinyere Madu, has been queried over the development.
