A counselor at the school spoke to the victim, who was 17-years-old at the time of the improper relationship, the affidavit states. The teen denied having a relationship with [Jameson Matthew] Norman and wrote a letter to the principal stating that what she had told other students about the relationship was a lie. However, two weeks later after the student’s denial, Norman told a fellow teacher that he had sex with the victim, the affidavit states. Two weeks later, Norman reportedly opened up to a fellow teacher and confessed he had sex with the teen. It was reported to the principal, who notified law enforcement. A Harris County assistant district attorney interviewed the teen, who admitted the relationship, records state. She told the ADA they first kissed in Norman's classroom right before Thanksgiving break in 2012, and had sex during debate tournaments -- leaving two events and going to his apartment both times. According to court documents, Norman told a second victim in multiple 2009 emails that he fell in love with her when he first saw her. She was only 15 when they met. That student reportedly told investigators she did not have a sexual relationship with Norman, but she "felt like he was coming on to her."
