Full charges against Wilton preschool teacher announced Eric Von Kohorn, a Bridgeport resident and former Wilton preschool worker, was arrested yesterday, Aug. 20, on the specific charges of first-degree possession of child pornography and promoting a minor in an obscene performance, a state police press release said last night. The preschool paraprofessional had been under investigation since at least June 11, the day state police alerted Wilton schools to their investigation. Connecticut preschool teacher's aide faces child porn charges Eric Von Kohorn, a 33-year-old Bridgeport resident who worked in the Wilton school system since 2007, was arrested late Wednesday and released on a $50,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in Superior Court in Bridgeport on Sept. 3. School officials said they were told in June that Von Kohorn was the subject of a probe by the state police and the Department of Homeland Security. Wilton Superintendent Plans Parent Meeting After Arrest of Teacher's Aide on Child Porn Charges In his letter Dr. Smith stated there were two charges against the former teacher, Eric Von Kohorn, 33, of Bridgeport. Von Kohorn worked at Wilton Preschool and has been under investigation since June of 2014. Upon learning of the investigation by Wilton Police, Dr. Smith stated Von Kohorn was immediately placed on administrative leave and not permitted to return to school grounds.
