He created a fake Facebook account using the name Thomas Durdan. The female student was Durdan’s only friend, the documents said. They frequently sent flirtatious and often risque messages to each other, the reports said. He’s quoted as sending the student a message Jan. 10 saying, “I want you to walk into my class next period and sit right on my lap ha!”

An officer was patrolling the parking lot and noticed a car with the passenger windows steamed up, according to the affidavits. The officer parked his vehicle and the man in the car got out, adjusting his clothes. The officer ordered the man back in the car and found the student sitting inside with a partially unbuttoned blouse, the affidavits say. When questioned by police, Hawkins said he did not believe he would get into trouble because he did not have sex with her.

Chad Hawkins is facing a second Indecency with a Child charge. In each case the students were 16 years old ... He quit the day after a police officer saw him in a car with a 16-year-old student next to an LA Fitness gym in Westworth Village, which borders Fort Worth ... Hawkins got out on bail in that case. But, police said he failed to show up for a court date last month and cut off an ankle monitor. He was jailed without bail over that and was arrested this week for the second indecency - fondling charge.

Star-Telegram: Former Arlington Heights coach sentenced to four years for fondling students (Mar 17 2014) In a plea agreement with prosecutors, Chad Brandon Hawkins, 35, of Flower Mound pleaded guilty to two counts of indecency with a child/fondling, according to Tarrant County criminal court records. He was sentenced to four years on each case and the sentences will run concurrently. Hawkins entered his plea last week in Criminal District Court No. 2 ... Hawkins must register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.
