A police officer has been charged with murder and child abuse in the death of his 15-year-old stepson. Maryland authorities said Dasan James Edward “D.J.” Jones’ body was found on July 6 at the home of his stepfather, Eric Glen Banks Jr., who worked for the Baltimore Police Department. Funeral Fundraiser Set For Dasan Jones; Stepfather Arrested

A GoFundMe page has been established to help pay funeral expenses for Dasan Jones, 15, of Curtis Bavy, a student at the magnet school in Glen Burnie. Authorities have charged his stepfather, a Baltimore City police officer, in the teen's death. On July 6 Dasan was found dead inside a hole in the wall of his stepfather's home.
