Anton was there “in an apparent attempt to accomplish a sexual encounter," police said. She was charged with first-degree disseminating indecent material to minors, a class D felony.

Marisa Anton, 33, of Yonkers sent the student "explicitly sexual content" over several months via email and online networks and invited him to have tryst with her, New Rochelle police said.​

Police said they arrested Anton when she showed up for the phony date and charged her with disseminating indecent material to a minor — a felony that could get her seven years in prison.​

Marisa L. Anton, 34, a female librarian at New Rochelle high school, was arrested Wednesday by New Rochelle Police after going to meet a 16-year old male youth for what she believed would be a sexual encounter. Anton did not report to work today at the high school, sources say. The boy, a student at the school, had complained to his parents that Anton had made inappropriate remarks that made the boy uncomfortable. The parents called the police. The police set up a sting: they had the boy call Anton and arrange a meeting. When Anton showed up for the meeting she was arrested.​

Yesterday afternoon, New Rochelle Police Detectives arrested Marisa Anton, age 33 of34 Winchester Avenue, Yonkers, New York, a Librarian at New Rochelle High School charging her with Disseminating Indecent Material to Minors in the First Degree, a Class D Felony.​

On May 27, a sixteen year male student at New Rochelle High School appeared at Police Headquarters and reported that for the past several months Ms. Anton had been sending him e-mails and other computer data communications of explicitly sexual content in an effort to invite him to engage in sexual conduct with her. Police investigation into the matter confirmed the student's report and Police Detectives apprehended Ms. Anton when she appeared at the student's residence in an apparent attempt to accomplish a sexual encounter.​

Police have charged a New Rochelle High School librarian with attempting to meet a 16-year-old high school student for a sexual liaison. Marisa Anton, 33, of Yonkers, was arrested when she showed up at the student’s New Rochelle home Wednesday. She is to be arraigned this afternoon. Anton has been suspended from the school, where she has worked since 2008.​

New Rochelle Police Captain Joseph Schaller said Marisa Anton, 33, of Yonkers, was charged with first-degree disseminating indecent material to minors, a class "D" felony. According to Schaller, the boy appeared at police headquarters Sunday and reported that for the past several months Anton had been sending him e-mails and "other computer data communications of explicitly sexual content in an effort to invite him to engage in sexual conduct with her." Schaller said a police investigation confirmed the student's report, and police detectives apprehended Anton when she appeared at the student's residence allegedly to have a sexual encounter.​

There was a brief mention of an "SCI" or Supreme Court Information. "SCI is a type of charging document, similar to an indictment," said attorney Cynthia Lobo, a lawyer based in New Rochelle. "It is typically used in a felony case where the defendant intends to plead guilty in a plea bargained matter."​

A New Rochelle High School librarian who is charged with trying to lure a 16-year-old male student into a sexual tryst went to court Thursday, where she agreed to push her felony hearing to Sept. 10, providing time to negotiate a possible plea deal. Michele Bonsignore, the lawyer for librarian Marisa Anton, declined to comment directly on a possible plea deal.​

Marisa L. Anton, 34, the female librarian at New Rochelle High School arrested last May in a sting operation by New Rochelle Police, has plead guilty to one count of endangering the welfare of a child - a class "A" Misdemeanor in front of ASCJ Susan Cacace. As part of the plea she will serve 3 years probation with sex offender conditions and surrender her teaching license. She is expected to be sentenced on February 26th.​

After months of teasing, a New Rochelle High School librarian allegedly showed up at a 16-year-old student’s home in April, pushed him onto his bed and asked “is this what you want?” as she started to pull down his sweatpants. “I thought she wanted to give me oral sex and maybe have intercourse,” he told police in a sworn statement. “I didn’t want to so I pushed her off me.” Marisa Anton, 33, of Yonkers, later texted him two pictures of her breasts, before begging to come over again. Concerned this was all getting out of control, the boy went to police, who arrested her the next time she showed up at his house, in May.​

Eight pages of city police records obtained by The Journal News under the state Freedom of Information Law, show how the teen became increasingly concerned after his flirting with Anton last spring went too far. She urged him to delete text and email correspondence with her, the teen told police. “She was concerned that she would get in trouble if anyone ever found out what was going on,” the teen said. “At one point, she emailed me penal codes of possible crimes she could be charged with. She also sent me a link to a website where there was an article about a teacher that was arrested for having sex with a student.”​
