    Criminal cases involving school employees handled differently by W-B Area

    Over the last two years, Wilkes-Barre Area School District administrators have had to make decisions about several district employees charged with and convicted of crimes. Cases involving four employees have been noteworthy. The district dealt with each differently. The district doesn’t have an absolute policy and handles employees charged with crimes on a case-by-case basis, Solicitor Raymond Wendolowski said. Joshua Wasielewski and Stephen Stahl were suspended without pay after being charged. A magisterial district judge dismissed charges in June that Wasielewski, a GAR Junior/Senior High School teacher, body slammed a student to the ground in March. The school district subsequently ...
