    Teachers are having their lives blighted by a rising number of false allegations made against them by pupils. And they will demand the right to anonymity until charged at the annual conference of the Association of Teachers and Lecturers (ATL) in Liverpool this week. A survey of nearly 700 teachers and support staff found that more than a third (38%) knew of a colleague who had a false allegation made against them by a pupil.
