Celebrity actor’ under investigation for sex abuse in United Kingdom Now that’s a cliffhanger. A celeb-hunting sex crimes task force in the United Kingdom revealed it’s investigating a “celebrity actor” — but it won’t say who. The tantalizing tidbit was included in a new report from the Lancashire Safeguarding Children Board, an agency charged with probing the sexual misdeeds of people in power. “Other on-going cases include historic sexual abuse perpetrated by priests, care home workers and preliminary enquiries into possible offences committed by a celebrity actor and a teacher accused of sexually abusing a pupil in 1997,” the agency wrote in the July 17 summary.
