Child’s outcry of yearslong sexual assault leads to arrest of Texarkana man

A child’s outcry lead to the arrest of a Texarkana man who allegedly sexually assaulted the child for years. According to the Texarkana PD, the child told their teacher about alleged years of sexual assault. Police later arrested Alberto Cucul, 44, for aggravated sexual assault of a child following an investigation with Texarkana PD, Texarkana ISD Police and Child Protective Services. Cucul was booked into the Bowie County Jail with a bond set at $100,000.

POLICE: Man arrested for child sexual assault after student makes outcry to teacher about abuse

A man was arrested for sexual assault after a child made an outcry to a teacher at an East Texas school district. According to the Texarkana Texas Police Department, an investigating began when a student confided in a teacher within Texarkana ISD about reportedly being sexually assaulted by Alberto Cucul, 45, over several years. An arrest warrant was issued for Cucul for the offense of aggravated sexual assault of a child.
