Trial set for former teacher charged with rape of a minor Former Knox Central High School social studies teacher and coach Terry Jones, who faces one charge of third-degree rape, now has a trial date set. Jones, 37, of Heidrick, pleaded not guilty during his May arraignment — he appeared before Judge Tom Jensen in Knox County Circuit Court Friday with his attorney, Lisa Fugate.
