Former Oak Ridge teacher wins $1.7 million in lawsuit that names Marczak A former teacher and coach with Oak Ridge Schools was awarded $1.7 million by a jury in U.S. District Court this week, ending a week-long trial that named Maury County Public Schools Superintendent Chris Marczak in the lawsuit. The civil case also provided reasoning as to why the administrator pursued a position with Maury County Schools.
