    Teacher Evaluation Changes Proposed

    COLUMBUS, Ohio - The ink is barely dry on the state's new teacher evaluation law and changes are already in the wind at the Ohio Statehouse. At issue is how much weight should be given to the so-called "value-added" ratings of teachers that measure whether students are making the expected academic progress.Under current law, half of a teacher’s evaluation is based on classroom observations and measures of professionalism.
