Bangor Daily News said:

A high school teacher from Ashland District School has been jailed for violating bail conditions related to a gross sexual assault charge filed against him last week, according to officials at the Aroostook County Jail. Maine State Police arrested Stephen Wierzbowski, a 27-year-old English teacher at the school, on Monday night for allegedly violating his bail conditions. Wierzbowski admitted violating the conditions in court on Monday and remains incarcerated, a jail official said Wednesday.

Bangor Daily News (8 Dec 2011): Complaint to school led to Ashland teacher’s arrest on sexual assault charge

Gehrig Johnson, who is superintendent of both SAD 32 and SAD 1 in Presque Isle, said Thursday that the charges against [Stephen] Wierzbowski resulted from a report received by the school administration on Nov. 29. The complaint led to an investigation by State Police and Wierzbowski was arrested on Nov. 30.

Bangor Daily News (20 Jan 2012): Ashland teacher accused of gross sexual assault back in court

Bangor Daily News said:

The high school English teacher was arrested again in December for violating his bail by using alcohol and being in possession of a weapon and some marijuana ... Because of the bail violations, however, Linthicum filed a motion and argued in court Thursday to alter Wierzbowski’s conditions of release on the remaining charges so that he would be better supervised. As a result, Linthicum said Wierzbowski will now be under the supervision of Maine Pretrial Services.
