Former Goodlettsville P.E. teacher charged with statutory rape The former physical education teacher at Goodlettsville Middle School has been arrested on two counts of statutory rape. Metro police reported Shelley Brown, formerly Shelley Lott, turned herself in Tuesday. Brown is accused of engaging in sex with a 14-year-old male student on at least two occasions during the summer of 2014. At the time, the student was between his middle and high school years.
