    Teacher indicted for drug possession

    24 Sept 2012

A Franklin teacher was indicted Friday by the Warren County Grand Jury for aggravated possession of drugs, according to an indictment list released by the prosecutor’s office. Patrice Clark-Elliott, 34, of the 2400 block of Bendel Drive in Middletown, allegedly possessed and trafficked Oxycodone pills, a schedule II drug, when she was arrested by Middletown police in early August. Possession of drugs is a third-degree felony and is punishable by up to five years in prison and a $10,000 fine.

    ...

Clark-Elliott was observed on Aug. 6 pulling into a Speedway gas station after a witness called police about an intoxicated driver. The officer pulled up behind Elliott’s vehicle and observed Allen leaning inside the passenger door of Elliott’s vehicle, according to a Middletown police report. The officer then observed Allen allegedly hand a plastic baggie containing 15 blue pills determined as Roxycodone, which is a narcotic pain reliever that is used to treat moderate to severe pain in the body. The officer then allegedly saw Elliott hand Allen $225 in cash, the report said.

Teacher indicted for drug possession now working in administrative office

    24 Jan 2013

Patrice Clark-Elliott entered a guilty plea in Warren County Common Pleas Court on Dec. 4 to a single count of aggravated possession of drugs, a fourth-degree felony. However on the same day, she filed a motion for intervention in lieu of conviction. Judge James Flannery granted Clark-Elliott’s motion, which stayed the criminal proceedings until she completes the intervention program. If the intervention and other probation terms are successfully completed, the court could dismiss the case without a criminal conviction and seal the court record.
