NYC teacher sues over firing A Manhattan preschool teacher fired after reporting allegations that a co-worker was inappropriately touching students has filed a lawsuit against the school.The New York Times says Marlangel Kefalas's suit claims her termination violated whistle-blower protection laws ... The suit says the school investigated and determined nothing was amiss. She was fired soon after. The suit says she then went to police and the intern was arrested after he gave what prosecutors described as a confession to placing children's hands in his lap.
