North Carolina: Forsyth County DA's office dismisses case against teacher accused of sex crimes

    I've redacted a couple names so this won't show up in Google searches for the poor guy's name, but this is totally ridiculous. He was arrested in July, 2019. After having this cloud hanging over the guy's head for 4.5 years, the incompetent prosecutor finally dismissed the case due to "insufficient evidence".

    If you didn't have sufficient evidence, why the hell was he arrested in the first place? And why didn't you get off your lazy (expletive deleted) and dismiss the case years earlier?

    The Forsyth County District Attorney's office said a case against a [redacted] teacher has been dismissed. The DA's office said it dismissed the case against [redacted] on Wednesday due to insufficient evidence. He was previously charged with two felony counts of statutory sex offense against a child, two felony accounts of sex act with a student, and two felony counts of indecent liberties.
