    Griggs County teacher sentenced for giving alcohol to minors still employed

    Griggs County Central High School teacher who was sentenced last month for giving alcohol to underage individuals in October at Ralph Engelstad Arena in Grand Forks still has her job, for now. Nancy Mae Paintner, 59, pleaded guilty on Feb. 17 to unlawful delivery to certain persons, a Class A misdemeanor, after giving alcohol to an 18- and 20-year-old the night of Oct. 17 during a University of North Dakota men's hockey game. She was sentenced to 20 hours of community service. An officer working in plain clothes watched Paintner set an alcoholic beverage down near two minors, ages 20 ...
