Moi Girls’ school reopens, suspects not arrested Activists have demanded the arrest of suspects in the alleged defilement of a student of Moi Girls School in Nairobi. They held demonstrations in the CBD today before handing a petition to Education CS Amina Mohamed. They want justice to prevent similar incidents. Cecilia Ayoti, leader of the Kibra Young Women Network, claimed some of the school’s parents had been threatened by unknown people. Ayoti regretted that many sexual offenders in Kenya go unpunished.
