Sheriff Joe Gamble dares state lawmakers to arrest him if police are banned from schools

Talbot County Sheriff Joe Gamble is criticizing a proposal at the Maryland General Assembly that could restrict police officers from entering schools. Gamble went as far as daring lawmakers to try to arrest him for entering a local school if the plan becomes state law. Two Democratic lawmakers from Montgomery County — Delegates Jheanelle Wilkins and Gabriel Acevero — want new state laws in place regarding police presence at schools.
