Parents want head teacher sacked over strikes Parents of Lango College in Lira District have resolved that the head teacher and his deputy be sacked for alleged incompetence and abuse of office. They attribute the recent strike by students that resulted in destruction of school property to incompetence of the administrators. Mr Fred Okello is the head teacher while Ms Florence Adupa is his deputy. On June 15, students of Lango College burnt a school pickup truck, vandalised the school bus and buildings, complaining that the school administration had failed to address their problem of poor feeding.
