    Colton Teacher Arrested On Suspicion Of Heroin Possession

    When police arrived to Jehue Middle School in Colton, they approached Kylie MacKenzie, who allegedly confessed to using a narcotic before school. “Our officers did believe he was under the influence of a narcotic and he was determined to have heroin in his possession,” said Cpl. Ray Mendez of the Colton Police Department. Police say they then seized the heroin and placed MacKenzie under arrest.

    COLTON: Seventh-grade teacher arrested in heroin case

    A school worker sounded the alarm after seeing Mackenzie near the campus smoking something that clearly wasn't a cigarette, said Cpl. Ray Mendez. "The witness pretty much described that the person was smoking something out of aluminum foil," Mendez said ... A school administrator notified police, who questioned and arrested the teacher. "Mackenzie was found to be in possession of heroin and admitted to smoking it," he said.

    Rialto Unified teacher arrested on suspicion of possessing heroin

    Kyle MacKenzie, 29, a seventh-grade teacher at Jehue Middle School in Colton, was spotted smoking the substance near the school campus, police said. Responding to a call from the school, Colton police officers made contact with MacKenzie who was found to have heroin and admitted smoking it, according to Colton police. “It was a useable amount that could be ingested,” police Cpl. Ray Mendez said. “He was detained and found to be in possession of the substance,” Mendez said. MacKenzie was booked into the San Bernardino County Jail.

    Colton teacher caught smoking heroin before school

    A middle school teacher in Colton was arrested Tuesday for allegedly smoking heroin near campus. Authorities responded to Jehue Middle School at 9:32 a.m. after a school resource officer observed a person inside his car smoking some type of substance near the campus. Officers arrived and found 29-year-old Kyle MacKenzie in possession of heroin. He admitted to police that he was smoking the heroin.
