Who is burning Kenya's schools? Yet more schools have been burnt in Kenya as the country continues to deal with a wave of arson attacks that have seen more than 100 schools targeted this year alone. At least 150 students and several teachers have been arrested and charged in court in connection with the fires. The Kenyan government has called an emergency meeting of teachers, clergy and other stakeholders to try and find a solution. The government is under intense pressure from trade unions and the political opposition to close all schools early but it has so far resisted the calls.
