    A Mountain View High School teacher has been arrested on suspicion of sexual assault of a child and having an improper relationship with a student, officials said. El Paso County sheriff's deputies arrested Jesus Garcia, 47, on Wednesday after an investigation.

    Jesus Garcia, a teacher and tennis coach at Mountain View High School was arrested yesterday morning for allegedly having a sexual relationship with one of his underage students. Authorities say Garcia locked himself and the 16 year old female student inside a restroom on campus, where they had sex. The incident allegedly happened last Thursday and was reported to law enforcement by the student two days later.

    A Mountain View High School teacher arrested on child-sex charges was allegedly found having sex with a 16-year-old girl in a school restroom last week, court documents stated. El Paso County sheriff's deputies arrested speech teacher and tennis coach Jesus Garcia, 47, Wednesday on charges of sexual assault of a child and having an improper relationship between an educator and a student. Complaint affidavits filed by a sheriff's investigator stated that Garcia "was found locked inside a restroom with the victim, a sixteen year old child" on Oct. 4 at the high-school in Montana Vista. The documents do not say who found them.
