Mr. Schweikert attended Idaho State University and in 1991 received his Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education and Health Education with minors in history and social studies. He has taught Physical Education in both the State of Idaho and Washington for the past 20 years. Mr. Schweikert has coached many sports including football and track for most of his teaching career. He currently holds the Head Coach position for the Bulldog football program at Mount Vernon High school.

Mount Vernon High School P.E. teacher and head football coach Jaxon Schweikert was arrested Tuesday for investigation of domestic violence, according to a statement from the Skagit County Sheriff’s Office. A third party reported a domestic violence complaint at about 10:05 a.m., according to the statement.
