According to the Cocoa Police Department, a confidential informant told officers that Johnson wanted to sell prescription pills. On the afternoon of Oct. 19, the informant set up a meeting with Johnson in the parking lot of the Sam’s Club store on Townsend Road. With undercover officers nearby, the informant paid $320 for 25 oxycodone tablets from Johnson, according to an arrest affidavit. After Johnson’s vehicle was stopped and he was handcuffed, officers said they found a pill bottle and his prescription for the highly addictive painkiller.
