    A white Aurora police officer was suspended for 10 days after an African American man suffered lacerations and injuries to his face during a traffic stop in September, police documents obtained by the Beacon-News show. Marcus Randle, 36, who lives in Bolingbrook, said small bones around his eye socket were broken during the arrest, and he is still receiving treatment. For a few weeks after, he was unable to look into the sunlight and had blurry vision, he said. The officer, Kyriako Vogiatzis, was suspended without pay after it was determined he violated the department’s use-of-force policies during the Sept. ...
