A white Aurora police officer was suspended for 10 days after an African American man suffered lacerations and injuries to his face during a traffic stop in September, police documents obtained by the Beacon-News show. Marcus Randle, 36, who lives in Bolingbrook, said small bones around his eye socket were broken during the arrest, and he is still receiving treatment. For a few weeks after, he was unable to look into the sunlight and had blurry vision, he said.
