    Former Ohio State Highway Patrol Trooper accused of rape


    A former Ohio trooper accused of sexually assaulting a female colleague has been indicted on two counts of rape in Lucas County. The Blade in Toledo reports Adam Foster, of Liberty Center, is suspected of assaulting the woman at her home last year while they were off duty. A message seeking comment was left Monday for his lawyer, who had indicated the 33-year-old Foster would turn himself in to authorities. Foster was fired in September after an internal investigation.     Former Ohio State Highway Patrol Trooper accused of rape

    Police say the former trooper and academy teacher for the Ohio State Highway Patrol was charged with rape in a 2015 incident, after conducting an investigation into separate accusations this year involving a female recruit. Former trooper Adam Foster was indicted, Friday, on two counts of rape in Lucas County. According to WTOL, the alleged rape happened in April of 2015 while Foster was a trooper at the Swanton Post, near Springfield Township.
