Parent alerts board to safety concerns at Florence High A parent told the Florence Unified School District board that since his son was arrested at Florence High School last month, he has learned of several other safety and security issues. “The school administration is out of control and something needs to be done,” Johnie Mendoza told the school board on May 11.
