Antioch police officers forced their way into a middle school teacher’s home, punched him in the head and gave him a concussion, according to a lawsuit the man filed Monday. Miguel Minjares, 45, of Antioch, said police assaulted him after showing up at his home during a dispute he was having with his 18-year-old daughter on Sept. 26, 2019. He said police wrongfully accused him of assaulting his daughter and threw him on a couch, put their knees on his back and punched him in front of his youngest daughter, aged 11, who videoed the incident.
