Black teacher to black students: ‘Wake up, white people are ahead’ An African-American city schoolteacher told black fourth-graders to shape up or risk falling behind their white peers, The Post has learned. “This is the worst class I have ever seen,” Shelley Crooks allegedly told kids at PS 316 in Brooklyn last year. “White people are way ahead of black people.
