A former spokesman for the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office was sentenced Tuesday to 10 years of probation after he was found guilty of groping a 16-year-old girl, according to media reports. Frank Huggins, 74, was found guilty of felony sexual assault by a teacher and misdemeanor sexual battery, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported. Huggins served as a sheriff's captain and a spokesman for the sheriff's office before retiring in 2010. The charges stem from a 2016 incident when he was a driving instructor, say media reports. A former Forsyth County sheriff’s captain convicted of sexual assault was arrested again Tuesday after he allegedly violated the conditions of his probation. Officials told Channel 2 Action News they found contraband in Frank Augustus Huggins’ home. Huggins, 76, was sentenced in March to 10 years probation after a Forsyth County judge found him guilty of felony sexual assault by a teacher and misdemeanor sexual battery during a bench trial.
