Holmes said the victims' friends told their parents who then notified authorities. Police said detectives contacted the victim who admitted to authorities she had sexual contact with Reed, and that she and Reed had exchanged sexually explicit messages. Holmes said on Saturday, March 22, Reed was arrested in Chandler by Phoenix police.
