Gilman School leaders hire company to investigate past sexual assault allegations Leadership at the Gilman School admitted Wednesday they did not handle sex assault allegations against students in the past properly. They said they are now working to right that wrong. On Wednesday, the headmaster sent a letter explaining allegations of past abuse against a former teacher who was also a coach, that happened in the 1990s. Abuse survivors spoke up about it to school leaders in 2008, and the teacher was immediately removed from any involvement with students.
