    Former La Joya ISD teacher accused of improper relationship with student

    On Thursday, 34-year-old Arturo Rodriguez went before a La Joya municipal judge, who formally charged him with one count of improper relation between a student and educator, said La Joya ISD Police Chief Raul Rodriguez. On Thursday afternoon, Rodriguez was released from the Hidalgo County Jail after posting a $30,000 bond, court records show. Rodriguez had been employed at La Joya High School.

    On Thursday, 34-year-old Arturo Rodriguez went before a La Joya municipal judge, who formally charged him with one count of improper relation between a student and educator, La Joya ISD Police Chief Raul Rodriguez said.
