WNCT: Halifax Co. teacher accused of showing students porn expected in court (Dec 21 2010) Archie McLeod, 51, is expected in court on those charges. He was removed from William R. Davie Middle School on December 21 of 2010 by deputies. Authorities tell us McLeod is accused of showing a pornographic video to students between the ages of 12 and 14 years old.

Roanoke Rapids Daily Herald: Davie teacher who showed students porn receives probation (Nov 30 2012) Archie McLeod, 53, entered a plea of guilty to dissemination of obscenity and contributing to the delinquency of a minor in Halifax County Superior Court Monday. Senior Resident Superior Court Judge Alma Hinton, as part of the plea arrangement, sentenced McLeod to six to eight months imprisonment suspended in favor of 36 months of supervised probation. Under the terms of his probation, McLeod will serve six months of electronically monitored house arrest, pay a $500 fine and court costs and is not permitted to be on any property belonging to Halifax County Schools, Weldon City Schools or the Roanoke Rapids Graded School District.
