Pediatrician at Stanford children’s hospital arrested on suspicion of attempted lewd acts with a minor

Redwood City police said Tuesday they arrested a 33-year-old pediatrician who worked at Lucille Packard Children’s Hospital on suspicion of attempted lewd acts with a minor and sending harmful material to a juvenile. A biography page for Dr. Dylan O’Connor on the hospital’s website was taken down on Tuesday evening, a short time after police announced his arrest. Redwood City officials said in a news release that they had received a tip from the San Jose Police Department’s Internet Crimes Against Children unit about a possible sex crime involving a juvenile in their city.
