Liza Anne Roberts, 26, of West Haven, was charged in 2nd District Court on Wednesday with second-degree felony sexual exploitation of a minor, and dealing harmful materials (pornography) to a minor, a third-degree felony ... Ogden police Lt. Danielle Croyle said it was a school resources officer who became suspicious of there being an alleged "inappropriate relationship" between Roberts and a 14-year-old male student. The two reportedly had exchanged explicit photos on a cell phone, which Roberts had purchased and given to the student.​

Note: I'm putting this in the "Cougars" area rather than "Hanky Panky" because she allegedly purchased the cell phone for the student, i.e. she set him up / was grooming him for the situation. Normally "sexting" with no other complications gets filed here under "Hanky Panky".

Police say 26-year-old Liza Anne Roberts faces a calss 2 felony dealing of harmful material to a minor charge following an investigation initiated by a school resource officer. Roberts, who no longer works at Ogden's Mound Fort Junior High is accused of purchasing a cell phone for a student and then using the phone to send sexual images and texts to the the 14-year-old boy.​

Liza-Anne Roberts, 26, a teacher at Mound Fort Junior High was arrested Tuesday after the school's principal was made aware of misconduct between one of the teachers and a 14-year-old student. According to charging documents, Roberts bought a cell phone for the student in October. Both Roberts and the student sent each other sexually explicit text messages and pictures containing nudity over a two-week period. Roberts allegedly sent the student a picture and asked for pictures in return. Police officers with the Ogden Police Department served a search warrant and seized the 14-year-olds cell phone, where officers found picture consistent with statements offered to the principal. ​

Police have arrested a former teacher at Mound Fort Junior High, Liza-Anne Roberts, 26, on charges of sexual exploitation of a minor ... Police Lt. Danielle Croyle said the school’s resource officer, Anthony Powers, worked with Ogden School District to collect evidence and conduct interviews, which lead to Roberts being arrested on Tuesday.​

A teacher sent topless photos of herself to a 14-year-old student and in return allegedly told him to send nude photos of himself to her cell phone. Liza Anne Roberts, from Utah, also exchanged highly explicit sex messages with the teen after buying him a cell phone. Roberts, 26, was arrested after police seized her phone and found the nude photos posted by her former student. A search of the boy's phone revealed a series of photos showing Roberts topless.​
