She provided screen shots from her cellphone showing the messages sent and received. "The student did report to school officials who then in turn reported it to the police department," Kutis said. The student told police that DeBerry requested to have sex with her and asked her to send photographs of herself to him. Police said the pictures did not qualify as pornographic images. The victim also told police that she pushed DeBerry away after he kissed her on the lips and bit her neck while they were in a school supply room in May.
