John White, 27, of Indianapolis, who worked as a part-time instructional assistant at Lincoln Middle School, faces two preliminary charges of child molestation.On Sunday, a woman reached out to police, saying her son had been repeatedly abused by White, but that he had "grown tired of the abuse" and decided to let someone know ... Police said White befriended the boy when he worked at Snacks Elementary School, and began teaching at Lincoln Middle School when the boy moved up to that school. The boy slept over at White's home at least 10 times, during which the teacher's aide would perform sex acts on the boy, police said. White also gave the boy a cellphone and an iPod, police said.

The teen said the last incident occurred about 2 a.m. Sunday when he was sleeping over at White’s house in the 5800 block of Augusta Meadows Drive, according to the report ... White had performed sex acts on the teen, according to court documents filed Friday, over several months when the child slept over at White’s house. White and the teen met at Snacks Elementary School, where White worked with special-needs children, documents said. The teen’s mother told detectives that White befriended her child sometime last year and invited their family to his church. Shortly after, her child became friends with White’s two foster children, a 14-year-old and a 17-year-old, and started sleeping over at White’s house to play video games with the other teens, documents said....Sunday morning, after she picked up her child from White’s Northwestside house, she asked if something was wrong. The teen was tearful and refused to answer at first, she told police, but later told her of White’s abuse that began eight months ago, documents said. he last incident allegedly happened about 2 a.m. Sunday. The teen said White asked that they not to tell anyone. According to documents, the teen was afraid to confess but eventually “became tired” of the abuse.
