Air Force JAG officer who prosecuted child sex crimes charged with seeking sex with minor

An Air Force judge advocate general in Hawaii is in federal custody, charged with attempting to lure a 14-year-old girl into having sex. Lt. Col. Ross Andrew Brown, 41, was arrested April 16 at Schofield Barracks after traveling there for what he believed would be a sexual encounter with a girl named Izzy, according to a criminal complaint filed Monday in U.S. District Court in Hawaii. Izzy was actually an online persona created by an Army Criminal Investigative Division special agent who is also affiliated with the Internet Crimes Against Children-Hawaii Task Force, the complaint said.
