But after being confronted with thousands of text messages and other evidence, the teen told police everything. "LeBlanc also told the 14-year-old female that he loved her, and that he would wait for her to turn 18 so they didn't have to hide their relationship. LeBlanc went so far as to talk about future plans with her," Sgt. Emily M. Cobb wrote in the arrest affidavit. ... He also confided in her about his pending divorce. The sexual relationship started in November, according to the affidavit.

He was arrested in 2005, the federal complaint says, for stealing items such as night vision goggles and lasers — primarily for use by military and law enforcement personnel — from his part-time security guard job at Insight Technology in Londonderry. He passed the goods to an accomplice who sold the items online, and arranged for some of the items “sold to be delivered in interstate commerce,” court records state. Ex-Stevens Math Teacher Pleads Guilty in Sex Assault of Student LeBlanc will begin immediately serving the three-and-a-half to seven-year sentence for felonious sexual assault. On the charge of aggravated felonious sexual assault, which carries a maximum sentence of 10 to 20 years, LeBlanc was given a five- to 15-year suspended sentence. The 15-year sentence “hanging over his head” will serve to ensure the defendant does not have any other victims, Hathaway said. The sentencing agreement has several conditions, including that LeBlanc have no contact with the victim or her family, that he surrender his teaching certificate and that he have no contact with anyone under 16 except for members of his immediate family. He is also prohibited from going on any primary or secondary school property and must undergo sex offender treatment as recommended by the Department of Corrections. He also must register as a sex offender.
